As always we at Rising Jazz Stars often present the finest under-recognized jazz artists from all over the world. One common quality we seek is passion. Be it a ballad or a swinging uptempo tune, we want to hear the heart and soul that defines the performer. With that in mnd, we are pleased to present you with Kathy Kosins, a powerful multi talented jazz singer. She started in rhythm and blues and soon graduated to full fledged jazz. She is a native of Detroit and rarely performs in the L.A. area.
A Recent review quoted:
"A dazzling jazz singer that has that something extra that was made to be appreciated, Kosins has got it going on and you should get on the train. Hot stuff."
Please listen to Kathy on our website under Peforming Artists Audio Tracks.
She will be joined by the superb Tamir Hendelman and his trio.
